Wedding Photographer Sorrento, Naples: one of the most beautiful place to get married

I could not have wished for anything more than starting the season as a wedding photographer in Sorrento.

I love the Amalfi coast and the Sorrentine peninsula, I am completely fascinated by the beauty of these places, so for me, it was really a pleasure to be Catherine and Justine’s wedding photographer Sorrento.

I think it is one of the most spectacular coasts in the world: the characteristic and colorful seaside villages located on the rocks on the sea, the breathtaking viewpoints, the orange and lemon trees, their bright colors and their intense aromas are perfect frames to organize a wedding in Sorrento and in the Amalfi coast. Do not forget that Sorrento is the native land of limoncello, a sweet lemon liqueur, so much so that most of the bride and groom who organize their wedding in these places, remember to give to the guests, a small bottle of this liqueur as a special memory of their wedding in Sorrento.

Wedding Photographer Sorrento: get married in the Amalfi coast

I am very happy to have started the season by photographing a wedding in Sorrento, an unforgettable mix of romance and elegance. Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast are a very popular destination wedding for all those who celebrate their wedding enjoying magnificent views and excellent food. Sorrento offers many characteristic places where you can organize your wedding day: typical villas with terraces overlooking the sea, gardens full of colorful flowers and historic cloisters are the perfect setting for a romantic and elegant wedding.

Catherine and Justine renewed the promises of marriage in Sorrento, in the beautiful Cloister of San Francesco and it was an honor for me to be their wedding photographer Sorrento.

They are a very in love and a close-knit couple, they have been married for 10 years but they have never had the chance to organize a real wedding party. They decided to do it, taking advantage of Justine’s transfer to work in Naples.

Catherine was really very good at organizing every detail of their wedding in Sorrento, she is a very sweet and sensitive girl, careful to every detail. From the original and elegant invitation to the beautiful and delicate bride’s bouquet, from the elegance of the wedding dress designed by herself, to the accessories in theme and to the locations to celebrate the renewal of the promises and to enjoy great typical food with the guests.

The theme chosen by her is the red thread of the whole marriage it was Shakespeare’s sonnet n.116, dedicated to love:

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments; love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:

O no! it is an ever-fixed mark,
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wand’ring bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.

Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.

If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

The romantic idea that love wins over everything, was also an inspiration for the wedding photo shoot in Sorrento. Catherine had a lot of ideas about the wedding photos that reflected her and her love for Justine; I tried to satisfy her desire, looking for romantic places and taking pictures where the couple could see each other like Romeo and Juliet.

The frame of the cloister of San Francesco was perfect for taking photographs of the wedding in Sorrento a little bit “out of time”, the beauty and elegance of the bride and groom did all the rest.

The sunset from the Marinella terrace has given a touch of romance to the album of photographs that Catherine and Justine will be able to relive as often as they wish.

The location chosen for the intimate dinner with friends was not far behind. A beautiful imperial table in the O’Parrucchiano garden, enclosed by lemon trees, lights and candles, was perfect to conclude a romantic and elegant wedding in Sorrento.
