It will be hard to forget the wonderful view of the monuments of Florence from the terrace of Palazzo Gondi, the impression of being able to touch the dome of the Duomo of Florence with a finger and the feeling of being next to the tower of Palazzo Vecchio is unforgettable.
I know my city well but I rarely get to look at it from different angles and certainly, the opportunity to take wedding photos at Palazzo Gondi was an exclusive point of view.
Not only my eyes were filled with so much beauty and elegance, but my heart was also grateful to have been able to meet two wonderful guys and their amazing families, a wedding in which love, sharing and the strength of the bonds were the absolute protagonists.

Katie and Nick have known Florence thanks to a study holiday and they are madly in love, so much to chose it for their destination wedding in Florence, and Palazzo Gondi was the perfect setting for them who love art.
The apartment on the top floor of the building was the place where the guys could prepare surrounded by breathtaking views and spacious and luxurious interior spaces, full of ancient details.
They chose to celebrate the symbolic ritual outdoors on the panoramic terrace overlooking the Duomo of Florence and Palazzo Vecchio in the light of the sunset.
The aperitif took place on the exclusive historic Altana and after a very quick session of couple photography in the streets of the city of Florence, we headed to the Piano Nobile, where the large living room with the monumental stone fireplace and the coffered ceiling, they framed the two imperial tables for dinner by candlelight.
The cut of the cake took place on the exclusive outdoor terrace behind Palazzo Vecchio while for the dances we moved to the historic cellar of the building.
My experience with the bride and groom
When I think about Katie & Nick the first words that come to mind are “sweetness and freshness“. Their smiles full of joy and complicity are contagious. I worked their photos smiling and reliving their joy, their shyness, and their fun.
The affection that binds them to their families has deeply impressed me, the strength of their relationships is surprising, so much so that feel the desire to be part of it. And I thank all of them for really making me feel like part of their family on this day together. Thank you for the esteem and trust you have given me, the lifeblood for me when I work.
I know what it means to share your wedding day with the people you love most in the world with the desire to make them live an unforgettable day, full of joy and even fun. I felt this strong will and I tried to never lose sight of it to let myself be guided in the work that I did alone.
