Wedding Photographer in Siena: An elegant wedding at Castello di Spaltenna on the Chianti hills
It is actually true that the places where getting married in Tuscany are not lacking. It seems that every corner keeps the beauty of earth and stone and that you can feel a kind of romanticism everywhere, all around this marvelous region.
There are, however, places that remain saved in the hearts more than others, special places that embody love, beauty, tradition and authenticity.
Riccardo and Katharina chose to marry at Castello di Spaltenna, in Gaiole in Chianti and I had the honour of being chose as their wedding photographer in Siena.
It is a charming and ancient fortified monastery, which today is the perfect location to celebrate your wedding in Siena.
If you are considering getting married in Tuscany and looking for an enchanted place, exclusive and rich in tradition, a wedding at Castello di Spaltenna is the right choice for you.
The Castello di Spaltenna is located on the Chianti hills, surrounded by the classic vineyards and featured by a unique panorama. There is a church (where it is possible to celebrate your wedding immersed into the warmth of ancient stone), a cloister, an observation deck, and delightful rooms with wooden four-poster beds, where you could spend the night: this contributes to the success of a perfect Tuscan wedding!
I have been – as a wedding photographer in Siena– totally overwhelmed by the emotions in photographing a wedding at this special place, the Castello of Spaltenna.
I immediately realized that it is a magical location, completely different from all the others, by looking at the pictures of the bride and the groom: starting from the ones of the wedding plans to the ones of the celebration in the Church and, finally, focusing on the photos taken during the funny party, in this refined and fascinating place.
Riccardo and Katharina are both nice people and there is a great complicity between them, they are beautiful and engaging. All their beauty is enhanced by the special frame around them. Perfectly in tune with each other, they constantly made eye and hands contact and, actually, the wedding album fully reflects all their emotions.
All this was created not only by this glances game, but also thanks to the castle behind them: elegant but authentic, intimate but, at the same time, perfect to host the fun of the marriage party.
Here follow a short preview of their wedding day in Tuscany, at the Castello of Spaltenna.
