Photoshoot for couples in the Tuscan countryside
It’s not the first time a couple contacted me to have wedding couple photos in the Tuscan countryside days after their wedding.
Maybe they got married in another country and they are on their honeymoon in Tuscany but they brought their wedding clothes to have a special memory of their honeymoon in Tuscany.
In England was coined the term “trash the dress” to call a photoshoot for couples made after the wedding in which the bride and groom wear their clothes and are immortalized in special and evocative settings, without fear of getting dirty or ruining clothes. It is therefore easy to find this kind of service on the beach, with the bride and groom who bathe or play on the sand or dip from the rocks on the seashore.
This is not exactly this case, nothing spectacular and out of the ordinary. Vincenzo and Melissa got married in Germany where they live but fell in love with the landscape of Tuscany and wanted to have a special memory of their wedding couple photos in the Tuscan countryside.
Wedding couple photos in the Tuscan countryside
Vincenzo and Melissa are a very shy, introverted couple but their complicit smiles and their looks show how much they are in love.
I chose to take them to the Parco Collinare di Canonica in Certaldo Alto, a green area among the hills of Certaldo characterized by rows of cypress trees and with a breathtaking view of the valley.
A stone’s throw from the delightful medieval village of Certaldo Alto, famous for having given life to the writer Giovanni Boccaccio in 1313. A unique village, with its red brick houses and alleys, is one of the favorite destinations for wedding tourism because in the town hall you can celebrate civil unions for those who come from abroad.
We spent an hour together enjoying the September sun and a cool wind that messed up the hair.
I chose to publish this selection of wedding couple photos in the Tuscan countryside in black and white because I wanted to emphasize the intimacy and delicacy that I found in Vincenzo and Melissa. The Tuscan countryside is definitely better to enjoy it in color but in this case, I was afraid that could steal the scene from my sweet couple.
I hope that these photos can inspire you and maybe make you want to organize a nice photoshoot even after your wedding. Enjoy!
