Surprise wedding proposal photography in Florence
When I am contacted for a surprise wedding proposal in Florence, I am always on one side very happy and excited, on the other, a little worried.
I’m happy because the moment he kneels down and gives her the ring is really very exciting. I feel very involved also because I organize the surprise wedding proposal together with the future groom. On the other hand, I am worried because for me it is really important that everything goes in the best way and that I can control as many variables as possible. Just one person passing in front of the camera at the wrong time and the photo is ruined and the moment has been lost.
For this reason, when someone contacts me, I propose places where I know that the variable “tourists” can be managed without too many worries and I propose times where the light is better or at least, where it does not create problems.
With Andy, we organized the surprise proposal in a very detailed way. We chose the small terrace below Piazzale Michelangelo because Andy wanted the Duomo as a backdrop to his photographs of the surprise wedding proposal in Florence but we decided to meet early in the morning to avoid the crowd of tourists that there is during the sunset.
Blake had absolutely no idea the surprise of Andy, woke up thinking of visiting the city at the first light of the morning, in fact, sneakers and water bottle in hand, could not believe when he saw Andy kneeling.
Since it was a surprise wedding proposal in Florence, she did not know of my presence, so I disguised myself as a tourist and used the telelens to capture the moment from afar without creating suspicion.
It was exciting to hear her cry with joy when Andy gave her the ring. I’m always moved even if I’m on the other side of the camera.
Photos of the surprise wedding proposal in Florence
After the unexpected surprise, we took advantage of the wonderful day and the fact that it was still early, to take a walk and reach the historic center of Florence where we could take some photos together. We had a lot of fun, we talked together, they were really happy and excited. I liked to capture their freshness, their smiles, their spontaneity.
I am flattered to be able to give such important memories to the people I meet and who come from all over the world.
I leave you with a small selection of the photos of the surprise wedding proposal in Florence, I hope you like them.
